Dipkarpaz Elementary School had been neglected for 35 years but at last Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport, Girne American University and Dipkarpaz Municipality gave a start to a Project for repairing and maintenance of the school and that Project will be ended very soon.

For providing more modern education to students, computer labs and technologic infrastructure are renewed by GAU.

GAU Information Processing Directorate teams, Dipkarpaz Mayor Mehmet Demirci and Chairman of Parent-Teacher Association Mustafa Yiğit went to the school to pursue the process. Mehmet Demirci replied the questions of GAU TV Actual News Programme and gave very important messages. Demirci conveyed his thanks for their efforts to Founding Rector and Chairman of Administrative Board Serhat Akpınar and GAU.

Demirci reminded that the team which consists of 40 academicians and students of GAU Architecture, Design and Fine Arts gave start to the efforts for painting and repairing the school and he also emphasized that GAU give every kind of support as they promised before.
